I try every place that I hear about and reviewed ETG when I found them 2 1/2 years ago. am expanding my review of Elbo to Go having tried more things on the menu. I stopped in last night and grabbed a four-cut pizza. The dough they make is great - the pizza comes out crispy and flavorful, and old pro owner/chef Bill doesn't skimp on the toppings. In the past few months, I've been obsessed with his Fat Daddy Reuben. I get it with dark mustard instead of Russian dressing. It's huge - more than a meal for me - perfectly grilled and succulent! I aslo have had the Philly Cheesesteak which is just as amazing. In addition to peppers, onions, and cheese, they add jalapenos, mushrooms if you want and I DO! Lots of f;lavor and a little jalapeno zing! Try this place and like me, you'll find yourself going back again. PS - ETG wings are my Sunday NFL staple.
I'd say this is the best takeout joint in Latham. Salads, wraps, sandwiches and wings are solid. I'm not a huge fan of the pizza. The mozzarella sticks are always fried to perfection, great sauce too. They also have buffalo chicken egg rolls that have a nice kick. Onion rings are fire too. Every time we order we try something new and haven't been disappointed yet. You won't find larger portions anywhere. Guys that work there are always nice and offer to bring food out to your car.
Ordered wings on a busy football night. Absolutely fantastic. The quality of the chicken was the best, and sauce was so delicious. I ordered mild. Blue cheese dressing also not run of the mill. Side veg very very fresh. Just appreciate the level here as it's getting hard to find. No need to look further!
We have ordered from here probably ten times now. Each time, I'm still amazed at the portions, freshness and quality! Tonight, I tried the chefs salad. It was enough for 3 meals! All fresh, high quality meats and cheeses piled so high, the lid on the container was attempted to be closed with tape....but it still popped open! Fresh lettuce and veggies rounded out this delicious salad! Highly suggest this restaurant for takeout and you will have plenty to serve the family.
Amazing food, and incredibly kind service. So many different comfort food options with a selection of salads for anyone that wants to eat healthier. After a tough week, this place was the perfect find. They also have party platters and samplers with so much variety. I can't rave enough lol
Everything I have ordered here has been excellent! Highly recommend! The folks that work there are super friendly, and they always give you enough food for multiple people/meals, and the prices are far below most take out places. Great value, taste, and staff!
Ordered takeout lunch, food was delicious, portions were huge, alot bigger than some other take out places, for same pricing. everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. New favorite spot in Latham. Would highly recommend!
Ordered with a few co workers and picked up lunch. Everything was excellent and the portions were huge! great sizes on the sauces as well! Will definitely be ordering again and trying more items. We got wings, fries and quesadilla!
